Please take notice that the Washington Avenue Corridor Community Improvement District will be holding a Board of Directors Meeting on February 10th at 11:30 am virtually via Zoom.

This will be an open meeting and all members of the public are welcome to attend via the above Zoom link or in person. A copy of the Agenda for this meeting is below:

3. Approval of Previous Minutes

Motion to approve minutes from 1/13/26 by John Berglund ; seconded by Dan Pistor

4. Board of Directors Matters

John announced retirement, and three month period to transition out of board chair role.

5. 2025 Financials / 2026 Budgeting Process

Budget report prepared by next board meeting- including 2025 expenses and 2026 budget

1099 turned in and all accounts in good standing

6. Traffic calming of Washington

GSL proposing concrete + delineator pole configuration; we are proposing beautification-friendly alternatives. Met w/ GSL, Alderwoman Cox Antwi and Explore STL for support

Downtown CID will take on planter maintenance

7. Security discussion

a. Jane Dueker/ MO Attorney General – Met with Matt. Very motivated to tackle downtown issues.

b. Updates

i. EZ Vape: Trial did not occur.

ii. Mark Twain Hotel: no further developments

iii. Downtowner: push to conversion to market-rate property

iv. Club Europe: Moving forward with protest

v. Nara Hookah Lounge: No update

vi. 3am licensees generally (outside of Ballpark village): attracting crime.

c. Vending - Meeting next week with bord of Aldermen and stakeholders .

d. Public nuisance ordinance- Matt is working with Alderman Aldridge on bill to address this issue.

7. Homelessness

Groundwork being laid to address complex issues

8. Media/ Marketing

Media strategy for CID has been put on pause but needs to move forward.
